A classic Aston Martin DBS, estimated to sell for £60,000-70,000, is entered into the Charterhouse auction of classic cars at the Haynes Motor Museum on Thursday 4th June.
“The owner, who live in Somerset, has been a keen car collector from a young age and bought his first Aston Martin aged 19 in the early 1970’s.” Commented Richard Bromell.
This Aston Martin DBS rolled off the production line in December 1969 and was registered in February 1970 to Transworld Publishing, a division of Penguin Random House, and is one of less than 1,000 Aston Martin DBS cars to be produced.
The owner has spent the past four years restoring and putting this DBS back together having bought the car as a project.

Originally painted blue with an automatic gearbox, this Aston Martin is today painted in a dark metallic grey complimented by a grey leather interior and is upgraded with the preferred manual gearbox.
Charterhouse are now accepting further entries for their next specialist classic car auction at Haynes on 4th June for which they also already have a collection of vintage Lagonda’s consigned.
