Single Owner Collection of Enamel Signs, Petronalia & Automobilia, May 27th

    A vast single owner collection of automobilia and enamel signs in Somerset is being sold by Charterhouse on Wednesday 27th May.

    “The owner has spent 30 years building up his collection but with a new business venture about to start he took the tough decision to let us auction the entire collection.” Commented Richard Bromell.

    The collection, estimated to total £60,000-70,000, includes enamel signs, petrol pumps and pump globes, vintage oil and petrol cans, garage forecourt items, lamps, car steering wheels, grills, badges and other parts, model vehicles, advertising wares, pedal cars and also a 1949 Land Rover from the first year of production.

    “Wherever you look in the barns, on the walls, the floors, the cabinets and even on the ceilings, every nook and cranny it used, it is hugely visual and impressive.” Continued Richard Bromell.

    Viewing for the collection is onsite at the owner’s property Moorhouse Farm, Holford, nr Bridgwater, TA5 1SP on Tuesday 26th May 10am-4pm with the auction being held by Charterhouse at The Long Street Salerooms, Sherborne DT9 3BS 10am on Wednesday 27th May
