Viewing will be on the day of the auction, from 9.00 am, Auction starts at 12 noon, and you are then able to clear items after the auction ends on the day, until 5pm. The Moretonhampstead Museum Collection
of Classic & Vintage Cars, Motorcycles & Automobilia
Thursday and Friday 15th and 16th May at 11am
Frank Loft, Founder and Curator at the museum has been a long term client and friend of Charterhouse.
For nearly 20 years Frank bought and collected the cars, motorcycles and automobilia, many from our auctions, which have been on display in his museum.
In the collection, there is a vast array of vehicles and automobilia, some of which are on the button and some of which will need some re-commissioning.
They date from the past 110 years from an Austin J40 pedal car to a vintage charabanc and pretty much everything else in between.
Viewing for the auction will be on Wednesday 13th May followed by an auction of the motorcycles and automobilia on Thursday 15th May and then the classic and vintage cars on Friday 16th May.
Online and printed auction catalogues will be available in due course and we will be updating this page at regular intervals.
Entry to the viewing on Wednesday 13th is open to all but to attend either auction days will be by catalogue only (£15 on the door or £18 post paid, admitting two)
