Hudson cars were very successful in the U.S. Taking over the Essex Motor Co. in 1922, they made their way across the Atlantic to Europe
At their peak in 1929, Hudson and Essex combined to produce around 300,000 cars in a single year, including contributions from Hudson’s other factories in Belgium and another established in Brentford, London, in 1925, which explains this lovely RHD car, although the US Speed Six had racy wire wheels, the British car came on artillery wheels to suit the local skill sets and a more sedate clientele
Running and driving well
Good Film and TV history to include Downton Abbey and the Agatha Christie And Then There Were None
