Paul King holds a Wine & Spirit Education Trust (WSET) Diploma and has spent most of his life enjoying wine.
Paul was brought up in the hotel trade. After school he successfully completed a degree in Hotel and Catering Management. From 1989 to 2000 he worked for several wine wholesalers as a sales manager until he bought The Eastbury Hotel in Sherborne.
In 2018 Paul and his wife sold the hotel to Peter de Savery and he is now working as the wine, whisky and port expert at Charthouse when not trying to reduce his golfing handicap.
